The effect of the pressure force and tool material structure on the surface roughness and straightness of honed bores is studied in this paper. We measured the vertical straightness, the arithmetic average and the maximum height of the roughness profile in our experiments, which contained 9 setups. We compared the registered profiles from the measuring devices in addition to the values of the three quality parameters.References
