The collection develops various procedures aimed at ensuring constant access to the content hosted on its servers:

• backup;
• monitoring of technological aspects to prevent possible format conversions or

outdated software;

• digital preservation metadata;
• the use of digital object identifiers (DOI).

In addition, the collection stores its metadata and full texts of articles in various national and international repositories to ensure long-term digital preservation of articles.
